The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and child development. This role involves creating age-appropriate activities, promoting social and emotional growth, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. The Preschool Teacher will play a vital role in supporting children's early learning experiences and helping them develop essential skills for their future education. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social interaction Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing individualized support as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies Incorporate activities that support childhood development, including toddler care, infant care, and preschool education Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities, share best practices, and enhance the overall educational experience Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing appropriate accommodations Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience with classroom management, behavior management techniques, and caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting Familiarity with special education needs and working with children with disabilities is advantageous Certification in first aid is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is expected Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young children across various age groups including toddlers and infants Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members
