Duties Supervise and care for children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote childhood development and early learning skills Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine caregiving tasks for infants and toddlers Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques to foster respectful interactions among children Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar early childhood settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required or obtainable upon hire Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Familiarity with classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Background in early childhood education or related coursework demonstrates a solid foundation for this role Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued and inspired!
