Job Description
KinderCare is seeking Lead Teachers for our Swansea center to inspire young minds and guide classroom teams. Lead Teachers design and deliver developmentally appropriate, play-based lessons that support social, emotional, and academic growth. You will create a safe, inclusive environment, observe and document children's progress, and build strong relationships with families. In this role, you'll mentor assistant teachers, uphold health and licensing standards, and engage in continuous professional development within a collaborative, growth-focused culture. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day activities in an early childhood classroom for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum. Observe and document children's progress and communicate regularly with families. Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive classroom environment aligned with licensing standards. Guide and mentor assistant teachers and support staff. Collaborate with center leadership on classroom goals and improvement initiatives. Engage in ongoing professional development and training. Support positive behavior and social-emotional development for all children.
