Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Twos Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will lead a dynamic classroom of toddlers aged two years, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional development, and foundational skills. Your expertise will inspire young learners and support their growth through engaging activities, personalized instruction, and collaborative communication with families. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of two-year-olds, incorporating literacy education, early intervention strategies, and age-appropriate activities. Lead daily classroom activities that promote child development, including play-based learning, physical education, and social-emotional skill-building. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement techniques and behavior management strategies to create a safe and respectful learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong home-school partnerships. Ensure adherence to all mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to maintain a safe environment for children at all times. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or student interns, providing guidance on classroom management, lesson planning, and child development best practices. Maintain detailed records of children's progress, assessments, and individualized plans while preparing for standardized testing when applicable. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, particularly with toddlers or preschool-aged students. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and early intervention techniques Qualified Early Childhood Teachers MUST have: 60 semester hours from an accredited college/university, with 6 semester (9 quarter) hours in child care/child development courses (birth-age 6), OR 1 year (1,560 clock hours) of child development experience in a nursery school, kindergarten, or licensed day care center, plus 30 semester (45 quarter) hours from an accredited college/university with the same 6 semester/9 quarter hours in child care/child development, OR Completion of a credentialing program approved by
