In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages, supporting their growth and development through attentive caregiving and educational activities. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a positive experience for children and peace of mind for their families. This position is perfect for individuals who love working with children and want to make a meaningful difference in their lives. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and potty training Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care Maintain open communication with parents or guardians about their child's progress and needs Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety standards Manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and gentle guidance Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in First Aid and CPR may be required or willingness to obtain upon hiring Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children is essential Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members Compassionate caregiving attitude with a genuine love for working with children Join us in creating joyful experiences for children while supporting their growth! Disclaimer:
This position is part-time only at this time. The working hours will be 2pm to 6pm, non-negotiable. Childcare for dependent children may be available but is not guaranteed.
