Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for young children. Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Communicate regularly with families about children's progress and classroom activities. Observe and document children's growth and behavior. Collaborate with coworkers and center leadership on curriculum and classroom management. Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations. Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
