About the Role As a Child Development Behavior Specialist at Blue Bird Day , you will provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children ages 2-7 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs . You'll foster each child's cognitive, social, emotional, adaptive, and developmental growth through: Providing individualized therapy Collecting data on programming Implementing evidence-based intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA Implementing developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans in our classrooms Collaborating daily with physical and speech therapists, and social workers Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care
Child Development Behavior Specialist Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Child Development or Early Education required Experience working with neurodivergent children preferred Registered Behavior Technician Certification preferred or willing to obtain
CompensationBenefits Competitive Hourly Rate:
