Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students, guiding them in their academic and personal growth. This role involves developing and implementing lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and fostering a positive relationship with students, parents, and staff. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and productive learning environment. Provide individualized support to students, including tutoring and assistance with standardized testing preparation. Collaborate with special education staff to accommodate the needs of students requiring additional support. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns that may arise. Supervise classroom activities and ensure the well-being of all students, particularly in toddler care settings. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices. Skills Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment. Experience in toddler care and understanding of developmental milestones. Proficient in lesson planning that aligns with educational standards. Ability to provide tutoring support tailored to individual student needs. Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with students requiring additional assistance. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and requirements. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Experience working with children in various educational settings is preferred.
