In this role, you will serve as a versatile team member, providing flexible support across various classrooms and age groups to ensure a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and adaptability will help create a positive experience for children, parents, and staff alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in early childhood education while making a meaningful difference in children's lives. Responsibilities Assist in supervising children across different age groups, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Support classroom activities, including playtime, learning exercises, and developmental milestones Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, adhering to health and safety standards Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities and developmental progress Follow all mandated reporting laws and safety protocols to ensure compliance with licensing requirements Support teachers with classroom management, behavior guidance, and instructional activities Participate in training sessions on child development instruction, first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid procedures Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education is a plus Strong child supervision skills with the ability to manage behavior effectively Excellent communication skills for parent interactions and team collaboration Classroom management experience in daycare or early childhood environments is desirable Ability to work flexibly across different classrooms and adapt to changing needs of the center Join us as a Kid City USA Floater and be part of a passionate team dedicated to nurturing young minds!
