In this dynamic role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for our youngest learners. Your passion for child development and hands-on experience will help foster curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth in infants and toddlers. As a key caregiver and educator, you will implement age-appropriate activities, support individual needs, and communicate effectively with parents to ensure each child's success. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the foundational years of childhood. Duties Develop and implement engaging daily lesson plans tailored to infants' and toddlers' developmental stages, including sensory activities, motor skills exercises, and early language exposure Provide attentive child supervision to ensure safety at all times within the classroom and play areas Support infants and toddlers with routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and personal hygiene in accordance with health standards Foster positive behavior management strategies that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and independence Maintain accurate documentation of each child's progress, milestones, and daily activities for parent updates Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development, needs, and classroom experiences to build strong partnerships Adhere strictly to mandated reporting laws and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for all children Qualifications Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in daycare centers or preschool settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development instruction, behavior management techniques, and classroom management skills Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), pediatric first aid, and child safety procedures required or willing to obtain upon hire Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration Familiarity with early childhood education principles, childcare standards, and daycare center operations Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism Mandated reporting laws knowledge to ensure compliance with state regulations Join us in shaping the earliest moments of children's lives by providing compassionate care combined with educational excellence.
