Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-K Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a love for discovery and growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and overall child development aligned with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain order and foster respectful interactions among children. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings and written updates. Conduct assessments of children's developmental progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly to meet individual needs. Lead activities that promote physical development, social skills, literacy education, and math readiness in young learners. Maintain current certifications such as first aid and CPR to ensure a safe learning environment at all times. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom experience. Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and early intervention strategies. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Ability to plan engaging lessons tailored to preschool-aged children's needs. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is preferred. Strong understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare.
