The ideal candidate will play a vital role in nurturing the spiritual, emotional, and educational growth of young children in a Christ-centered environment. This position involves leading developmentally appropriate, Biblically integrated activities, ensuring children's safety and well-being, and modeling Christ's love in all interactions. Must be 18+ . Hours vary weekly M-F between 7am and 5:30pm . Responsibilities Implement Abeka lesson plans that support early childhood development and incorporate Biblical principles using provided curriculum when in 2's and above classrooms. Supervise and engage with children in a safe, loving, and structured environment. Provide individualized care and attention, recognizing each child as a unique creation of God. Foster Christ-like relationships with students, families, and colleagues, creating a nurturing and supportive community. Encourage positive behavior and spiritual character development through gentle guidance and Biblical teachings. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom that reflects Christian values and supports exploration and learning. Observe and document each child's development and communicate regularly with parents, offering both academic and spiritual insights. Collaborate with fellow staff in prayer, planning, and shared service to enhance the daycare ministry. Skills/ Requirements Must attend church regularly. Pass Drug screening and Background Check Previous experience in early childhood education or Christian daycare settings is preferred. A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to integrating Biblical truth into teaching. Understanding of child development and ability to plan age-appropriate, Christ-centered activities. Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience, consistency, and grace. Experience working with children of varying abilities, including those with special needs, is a plus. Skilled in caregiving tasks. Excellent communication skills for partnering with parents and staff in both educational and spiritual matters. Creativity, empathy, and a calling to serve young children and their families in a Christian environment.
