Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for toddlers. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence. Manage daily classroom activities, including circle time, play-based learning, arts and crafts, and physical activities to support holistic development. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about each child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Apply behavior management techniques to foster positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children. Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws and health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR protocols. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management strategies, and individualized support for children with special needs or early intervention requirements. Skills Proven experience working with young children in a childcare or preschool setting, with strong classroom management skills. Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and early intervention strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social-emotional learning Strong understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations in early childhood settings. Lead teachers must have a CDA Credential or an Associates Degree or a Bachelors Degrees in early childhood education or elementary education.

Pay:

$12.50 - $17.00 per hour
