Daycare Cook & Classroom Support - Wee Warriors Academy Wee Warriors Academy is looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Daycare Cook who is also comfortable stepping into the classroom to support staff, cover breaks, and assist with children when needed. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys cooking, staying organized, and being part of a warm, child‑centered environment. Position Overview The Daycare Cook is responsible for preparing daily meals and snacks, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, and supporting classroom teams throughout the day. This position requires strong time‑management skills, the ability to multitask, and a calm, positive presence around children. Key Responsibilities Prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks according to the center's menu and dietary guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times. Follow food safety and portioning requirements, Assist in classrooms as needed (covering breaks, supporting teachers, helping with transitions)Build positive, nurturing interactions with children. Help maintain a safe, clean environment throughout the center. Communicate effectively with staff and leadership Follow all licensing and program policies. Qualifications Experience cooking for groups (childcare, school, kitchen experience preferred) Strong time‑management and organization skills Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy periods Comfortable working with children ages 6 weeks-12 years Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Must pass background checks, drug test and meet state childcare requirements M-F 7:30-4pm Paid Holidays Tuition Assistance Message to set up an interview
