Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development. Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction that encourages exploration and independence. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective classroom management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents to share progress, address concerns, and foster strong partnerships in child welfare. Conduct child development assessments to tailor educational activities to individual needs, including special education and early intervention strategies. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of daily activities and incidents. Lead engaging lessons in physical education, literacy education, and other foundational subjects to support comprehensive childhood development. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, demonstrating strong classroom experience. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education best practices, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or tutoring young children. Certification in first aid and CPR is required to ensure safety at all times. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration. Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is a plus. Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain a nurturing environment that prioritizes child welfare.
