Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and well-being Support classroom management by maintaining organized learning environments and encouraging positive behavior Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences Follow all safety protocols including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures to respond promptly to emergencies Help with classroom setup, cleaning, and material preparation to foster an inviting learning atmosphere Observe and document children's developmental milestones to inform instructional planning and parent updates Skills Experience working with children in childcare and preschool settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Ability to provide toddler and infant care with patience and attentiveness Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively Certification in first aid, CPR, or pediatric first aid is a plus; ongoing training encouraged Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is advantageous Understanding of mandated reporting laws to ensure compliance with child safety regulations Demonstrated ability to supervise children responsibly while fostering a nurturing environment This role is ideal for passionate individuals eager to support young learners' growth while developing their skills in early childhood education.
