In this vital role, you will lead the development and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate activities that foster growth, curiosity, and social-emotional development in infants. Your leadership will ensure a safe, nurturing environment where young children can thrive and explore. Responsibilities Lead daily classroom activities that promote infant development, including sensory play, motor skills, language acquisition, and social interaction. Supervise and support assistant teachers and caregivers to ensure high-quality care and educational standards are maintained. Develop individualized care plans that meet each infant's developmental needs and milestones, incorporating best practices in childhood development instruction. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that complies with health and safety regulations, including pediatric first aid and CPR protocols. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships built on trust and transparency. Ensure adherence to mandated reporting laws and childcare licensing requirements at all times. Observe infants regularly to monitor developmental progress, behavior management needs, and overall well-being; document observations accurately. Requirements Proven experience working with infants in daycare centers or early childhood education settings, including classroom management and caregiving duties. Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and knowledge of mandated reporting laws. Strong understanding of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration. Ability to lead by example with enthusiasm, patience, and a positive attitude toward teaching young children. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom routines efficiently while providing nurturing care.
