Child Start is actively recruiting for multiple openings in our early Head Start classrooms serving children ages 0-3, with positions available in Haysville, KS. These are full-time career opportunities for dedicated, early childhood professionals. A typical day working with Child Start in an early childhood classroom may involve: Encourage children to try new learning activities. Assess each child's development initially and update assessments throughout the school year. Review the curriculum continually and write weekly lesson plans that incorporate all areas of child development (social/emotional development, physical and cognitive language development).

Requirements Requires:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Attainment of Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) within 1 year of hire, (we have scholarships available to help with CDA completion). Relevant experience working with infants and toddlers. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds for various classroom and event needs.
