Responsibilities Supervise children during play, learning activities, meals, naps, and outdoor time to ensure safety at all times Implement age-appropriate educational activities focused on childhood development instruction and early learning milestones Maintain a clean, organized classroom or daycare environment that promotes safety and engagement Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Follow mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any concerns related to child safety or well-being Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive social interactions and emotional regulation Assist with diapering, infant care routines, and toddler care as needed, adhering to health and safety standards Experience (Will Train) Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar caregiving roles Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued Classroom experience managing young children's activities and behavior management strategies Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and child safety procedures is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child abuse or neglect Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members in a professional manner This role offers an energetic environment where your passion for nurturing young minds will be celebrated.
