Job Description

We are seeking a nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a warm and engaging environment for infants (ages 6 weeks to 18 months), promote their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development, and ensure a safe and loving atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a safe, clean, and caring environment where each infant feels secure and valued Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones Establish consistent, caring relationships with infants and communicate effectively with parents/guardians Maintain daily records of feeding, sleeping, diapering, and developmental progress Observe and assess each child's individual growth and needs Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to maintain a supportive team environment Attend staff meetings, professional development trainings, and required in-service hours
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; CDA (Child Development Associate) preferred Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in a licensed child care setting (infant care preferred) CPR and First Aid Certification (or willing to obtain upon hire) Knowledge of infant development and responsive caregiving practices Excellent communication and organizational skills Passionate about early childhood education and child development
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Frequent kneeling, bending, lifting, and sitting on the floor Active supervision and engagement with children at all times Join our team as we inspire the next generation of learners!

$12.50 - $15.00 per hour
