Job Description
Creche is looking for a full-time Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team! The most important characteristic of our team is that we LOVE working together to support families. Our teachers are excellent at planning fun, educationally-focused hands-on curriculum for children. Our team is experienced, dedicated, and has a strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices. We measure our success by the quality relationships we build with each child and their family. This requires us to be self-starters, effectively manage orderly classrooms, and oversee activities cooperatively. Creche is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher to work in one of our 1-2 year old classrooms. A typical week might include : Meeting each child where they are, getting messy (sometimes), and having FUN together! Planning and executing weekly lesson plans based on children's development and NAEYC Accreditation Standards; Coordinating with co-teachers to create classroom projects, allowing time for the supplies to be prepared; Encouraging children's learning through play on a developmentally appropriate level; Engaging in professional conversation with parents, team members, and children; Managing your classroom to ensure quality, safety, state ratios, and sanitation guidelines are met; This Position might be for
