Parkwood Day School is looking for fun, energetic, and passionate early childhood teachers to lead our growing infant and toddler classrooms. The person selected for a teaching position at Parkwood Day School should be someone who desires to work with children and families, and works well as part of a teaching team. The applicant(s) must be responsible individuals that are emotionally and physically able to perform daily duties and relate well with others.

Education & Training Requirements:

Minimum of 6 months of experience teaching in a licensed program. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in ECE or a related field, or a CDA is required for lead positions. Education plans are accepted for applicants working on a degree in Early Childhood Education as well. Applicants must meet all KOEC requirements for working in a licensed child care program, including: comprehensive background check, first aid/cpr, Cape (KCCTO) foundations module, and TB test. A minimum of 4 hours in infant-specific training is required annually as well. Full time employees are eligible for PTO and choice of benefit after 60 days of employment.
