In this dynamic role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children from infancy through preschool age. Your expertise will help lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning and success while ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for every child. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to the developmental stages of children, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable. Create a warm, welcoming classroom atmosphere that promotes positive behavior management and classroom management strategies to support each child's individual needs. Conduct ongoing assessments of child development using standardized testing and observational techniques to inform instruction and support early intervention efforts. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians through meetings, reports, and updates to foster strong partnerships in supporting each child's growth. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain detailed records related to child welfare, health, safety, and progress. Provide specialized support for children requiring additional assistance in areas such as special education or early intervention programs. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to first aid and CPR protocols and implementing health and safety standards consistently. Requirements Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Experience developing curriculum content across various domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is highly valued. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety procedures. Ability to plan engaging lessons that meet educational standards while fostering creativity and independence among young learners.
