Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, with the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. The Daycare Teacher will be responsible for fostering the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children in our care, ensuring they receive the attention and support they need to thrive. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Supervise and engage with children in a safe and positive manner. Manage classroom behavior effectively, using appropriate behavior management techniques. Create a welcoming atmosphere for children and their families, building strong relationships with both. Monitor children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents as necessary. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the daycare facility. Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities. Experience Previous experience in childcare or as a nanny or babysitter is preferred. Familiarity with preschool education principles and childhood development milestones is essential. Strong classroom management skills are necessary to maintain an effective learning environment. Ability to educate children through play-based learning activities. Experience working with diverse groups of children is a plus.
