Responsibilities Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various domains, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. Provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children to explore and learn. Engage children in educational activities that stimulate their curiosity and encourage exploration. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a supportive community. Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing guidance and support as needed. Maintain classroom management by establishing rules and routines that promote positive behavior. Collaborate with other educators to ensure a cohesive educational approach. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns. Qualifications Experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred; nannying or babysitting experience is also valuable. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive learning environment. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Experience working with children of various ages, including infants and those with special needs. Ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude with a genuine passion for educating young minds. Relevant certifications in childcare or early childhood education are a plus.
