Job Description

Grace Early Learning Center is looking for a full time 3-5 year old classroom teacher to join our team. All applicants must have experience working in child development of at least 1 year with preschool age groups. Preferred bachelors degree in early education, child development, or similar. Must demonstrate knowledge of child development through the use of materials to supplement a faith based curriculum. Must be able to provide a positive classroom environment, have effective time management skills and be able to communicate well in both oral and written forms. Applicants are strongly encouraged to have an educational background in Child Development, Education, or other related course of study significant to this position. This position will be for 40 hours per week and does include paid holidays and accrued personal time off. All applicants will need to obtain childcare Orientation I & II certificates, Pediatric Abusive Head Trauma certificates and CPR/First Aid if they do not already possess them. Responsibilities and Duties Applicants will be responsible for following and implementing a child development faith based curriculum. Must be able to complete lesson plans on a weekly basis, communicate with parents about student affairs and work well with a team. Qualifications and Skills Applicants are strongly recommend to have an educational background in Child Development, Education, or other related course of student significant to this position. Must obtain childcare Orientation I & II certificates, Pediatric Abusive Head Trauma certificates and CPR/First Aid if they do not already possess them.
