Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children across multiple classrooms or care settings, adapting to different age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs Implement age-appropriate activities that foster childhood development, social skills, and emotional well-being Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures, pediatric first aid, and mandated reporting laws when necessary Communicate effectively with parents about their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns to build trust and partnership Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports learning and safety standards in daycare or childcare centers Support classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and respectful interactions among children Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine caregiving tasks as needed Experience Previous experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar caregiving roles is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development instruction and early childhood education principles Hands-on experience with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Familiarity with working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required or willing to be obtained upon hire Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Experience working with infants through preschool-aged children in classroom or daycare environments Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to nurturing young minds!
