Overview We are seeking passionate and energetic smiling faces to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a nurturing environment, and support the developmental growth of toddlers ages 1-3. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners, ensuring they feel safe, engaged, and excited to explore their world. Responsibilities Implement engaging curriculum plans that are tailored to toddler development stages, incorporating literacy education, physical activity, and social-emotional learning. Lead daily classroom activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and independence among toddlers. Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child development observations. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to foster a cohesive team environment. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards including first aid and CPR certifications. Skills Experience working with children in early childhood settings, particularly with toddlers is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, including early intervention strategies and special education needs is preferred. Implementing curriculum, lesson planning, and caring for the needs of our angels is required. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Classroom management expertise with a focus on fostering positive behavior and creating an inclusive environment. Ability to adapt activities for children with diverse learning needs while maintaining a fun and educational atmosphere.
