The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and educating children. Duties would include
  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure all food preparation meets food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with administration if there are any special dietary needs
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Monitor food supplies and ingredients, and order as needed
  • Proven experience as a Cook or relevant position in the food industry is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Food Managers/handlers Certification is a plus
  • Cleaning, mopping, dishes
  • Food inventory
  • Assisting Administration in classrooms on occasion
  • Knowledge of Federal food program preferred but not required, we can train.
