The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and stimulating learning environment for our students, developing lesson plans, and providing instruction in basic academic, social, and emotional skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching young children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think on their feet. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood educational standards. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment for all children. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and appropriate discipline techniques. Engage with children through play, educational activities, and hands-on experiences to encourage learning. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive learning experience for students. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that promotes exploration and creativity. Attend training sessions, workshops, and meetings to enhance professional development. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare. Excellent classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment. Ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities. Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude with a genuine passion for teaching and caregiving. Relevant certifications in early childhood education or related fields are a plus. High School or GED Must complete a Criminal Background Check.
