Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management strategies, and curriculum development to enhance educational quality. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, preschool teaching techniques, and innovative educational practices. Skills Proven experience working with children across various age groups in daycare or preschool settings. Strong knowledge of child development instruction, childhood education theories (including Montessori), and early intervention strategies. Expertise in curriculum development encompassing literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and classroom activities. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork within a collaborative environment. Ability to manage classroom dynamics efficiently while fostering a positive learning atmosphere through classroom management techniques. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws, child welfare policies, and health & safety regulations including first aid and CPR certification. Experience working with children with diverse needs such as special education or behavioral challenges; experience with toddler care is highly valued. Skilled in using standardized testing tools to assess developmental progress accurately.
