Learning Road Academy LLC is seeking dependable, compassionate, and experienced childcare teachers to join our growing team. We are hiring full-time teachers, part-time teachers, and flexible floater teachers. We are looking for educators who genuinely enjoy working with children and understand the importance of providing a safe, nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment. Applicants should be dependable, professional, patient, energetic, and able to communicate effectively with children, families, coworkers, and center leadership.
Compensation and Schedule:
$14.00-$20.00 per hour, based on education, credentials, experience, availability, and assigned position Weekly pay Full-time and part-time positions available Floater positions available for candidates who can work in different classrooms Monday-Friday scheduling Learning Road Academy operates from 6:00 AM-6:00
PM Primary Responsibilities:
Provide attentive and active supervision at all times Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom Create and follow age-appropriate lesson plans and daily routines Support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development Lead engaging learning activities, play experiences, and classroom transitions Follow all childcare licensing requirements and center policies Document meals, naps, diapering, activities, incidents, and daily updates Communicate professionally with families through Brightwheel Assist with meals, toileting, diapering, rest time, and classroom cleaning Work cooperatively with teachers, floaters, administrators, and support staff Maintain required staff records, training, and professional-development hours
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a licensed childcare center, preschool, or early-childhood program is strongly preferred A Child Development Associate credential (CDA) is preferred Applicants who do not currently have a CDA must be willing to work toward obtaining one High school diploma or equivalent required Must be dependable and arrive on time for scheduled shifts Must be able to pass all required childcare background checks Must complete all Kentucky-required childcare training and documentation Must be able to lift children and classroom materials and participate in indoor and outdoor activities Must demonstrate patience, professionalism, teamwork, and effective classroom-management skills
