Pleasant Grove Christian Learning Center is hiring for a full time childcare employee. We are seeking reliable individuals, who are motivated, willing and able to take initiative in a classroom. Applicants should have previous experience working in State licensed childcare facility Applicants must:

• be able to work full time, daily 8 hours shifts, 40 hours a week
• must have reliable transportation daily
• must be organized
• must be reliable
• must be motivated and able to take initiative in a classroom.
• must be able to follow our policies and procedures.

Job responsibilities:

• provide a safe and nurturing environment
• ensure children are accounted for and supervised at all times
• build and maintain positive relationships with children, co workers and parents
• work together with other staff in a classroom to create an age appropriate monthly lesson plan
• daily cleaning including but not limited to
• sweeping, vacuuming and mopping
• daily disinfecting of toys, equipment and surfaces Job requirements
• 18 years or older
• high school diploma or GED
• obtain a TB skin test or T.B assessment
• undergo and pass background checks
• physically active and able to lift 25 lbs, stand for periods of time, crouch and kneel frequently
