Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to the well-being of each child, as well as the ability to engage effectively with both students and their families. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth. Manage classroom behavior effectively through established guidelines and positive reinforcement techniques. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational experience for all students. Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and any incidents that may occur. Stay informed about current best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities. Skills Experience working with students in an educational setting. Strong background in childcare, including infant care and toddler care. Knowledge of childhood development principles and special education practices. Ability to manage a classroom effectively while promoting a positive learning environment. First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain if not currently certified. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff effectively.
