Morning Child Care Assistant / School Transportation Driver (Part-Time)

Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - approximately 10:00AM (hours may vary slightly) About Us We are a caring, family-focused child care center dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children. We are looking for a dependable morning team member who enjoys working with children and wants to make a difference in their day before school. Position Summary We're seeking a reliable, punctual individual to open our center each morning and assist with preparing children for their school day. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and is comfortable driving a passenger van. Responsibilities Open the child care center promptly at 6:00 AM Prepare cleaning solutions for all of our classrooms for the day Welcome children and families as they arrive Supervise children in a safe and caring environment Help children prepare for school Assist children with boarding school buses safely Drive the center's van to transport children to local schools Maintain accurate attendance records Communicate professionally with families and staff Follow all child care licensing regulations and safety procedures Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old (or your center's required age for driving) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable driving a passenger van Dependable and punctual Enjoys working with children Able to pass required background checks CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Previous child care experience is a plus, but not required What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who: Loves working with children Is dependable and arrives on time every day Has a positive, friendly attitude Works well independently and as part of a team Prioritizes safety above all else Benefits Consistent weekday schedule No evenings or weekends Supportive and welcoming team environment Opportunity for additional hours when available Paid training Must have Negative TB skin test Highschool diploma or GED Driver's license Clean driving record Apply Today!
