Ensure safety by adhering to mandated reporting laws, maintaining first aid and CPR certifications, and following all health and safety protocols diligently. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, curriculum development, and implementing early intervention strategies for children with special needs or requiring additional support. Skills Extensive experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, demonstrating a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and delivering engaging preschool teaching activities that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori methods. Knowledge of special education practices, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies to support diverse learning needs. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Classroom experience with toddler care and preschool teaching that emphasizes child welfare and safety standards. Ability to manage classroom dynamics efficiently while fostering a nurturing environment conducive to learning and exploration. Familiarity with childcare regulations, mandated reporting laws, first aid/CPR certification, and best practices in childhood education.
