In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of children. Duties Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to mixed-age groups, incorporating early childhood education principles and Montessori methods when applicable Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management and classroom management strategies Support child development through age-appropriate activities focusing on literacy, math, physical education, and social skills Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Ensure safety by adhering to mandated reporting laws, maintaining first aid and CPR certifications, and following child welfare protocols Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor learning outcomes and inform instructional strategies Collaborate with specialists in special education and early intervention to support children with diverse needs Maintain detailed lesson plans, classroom records, and documentation aligned with educational standards Engage children in activities that promote physical activity, creativity, and cognitive development while fostering independence Uphold all health guidelines related to childcare and daycare experience standards to ensure a safe learning environment Experience Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, or Montessori methods is highly desirable Knowledge of childhood development stages and best practices in early childhood education Familiarity with special education strategies, early intervention programs, and behavior management approaches Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children from diverse backgrounds Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood development or mandated reporting laws are preferred Previous experience in private schools or daycare centers enhances your candidacy Join us in shaping young minds through energetic teaching and compassionate care!
