Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards such as the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Support classroom behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and social skills Supervise children during activities, playtime, meals, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement Help facilitate literacy and math activities tailored to individual developmental levels Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that complies with educational regulations and safety standards Communicate regularly with parents about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Use educational technologies and computers to enhance learning experiences for young children Support children with disabilities or special needs through personalized assistance and inclusive practices Collaborate closely with teachers on lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and behavioral strategies Assist in documenting student progress through proofreading reports, tutoring notes, and behavioral observations Experience Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings such as preschools or daycare centers is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and educational compliance regulations including the ESSA is essential Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism demonstrates a strong understanding of inclusive education practices Classroom management skills that foster a positive learning environment are required Proven ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, teachers, and staff is vital Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed Experience with Montessori or other specialized early childhood curricula is a plus Demonstrated ability to mentor or tutor young learners to support their academic growth Join us in shaping the future by supporting young learners' growth through compassionate care, innovative teaching methods, and collaborative teamwork!
