We require every employee to provide the best care for dogs in our programs. You may be expected to help others as needed to achieve that primary goal.

Responsibilities:

Supervising, managing, and controlling dogs to ensure the safety of the playgroup Providing social interaction and physical activities for pets while in daycare Immediate cleaning up and disinfection of pet waste Feeding animals as required Providing clean drinking water for dogs at all times Taking dogs to and from the front lobby (some customer interaction is required) Writing reports for dogs each day Cleaning and sanitizing play area and equipment May be trained to do behavior assessment to see if pet is a good fit for our boarding or daycare program

Skills :

Recognize dog behavior and body language in order to prevent a problem before it escalates Using distraction (no hitting, no contact, no yelling) as a tool for undesirable behavior Although problems in daycare are rare, you will be expected to involve yourself quickly and without hesitation
