Summary We are seeking a passionate Childcare Provider to join our team at Don Ave Daycare. In this role, you will be responsible for caring for children in a safe environment, facilitating their growth and development through play-based learning. This position is vital in shaping the early experiences of our children. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children in daily activities to promote learning and development. Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being. Implement age-appropriate educational activities that foster cognitive and social growth. Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized environment that meets health and safety standards. Requirements Experience in early childhood education or childcare settings is preferred. Strong understanding of childhood development principles. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills to interact with children and parents effectively. First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
