Job Description

Hickory Day Care is looking for a reliable, warm, and dedicated early childhood caregiver to join our team! We are looking for someone passionate about providing a safe, clean, and nurturing environment where young children can learn, play, and grow. Key Responsibilities Provide attentive, loving care to children throughout the day. Maintain high standards of classroom hygiene, including routine diaper changes, hand/face wiping, and sanitizing play areas. Assist with light daily housekeeping duties (sweeping, mopping, maintaining clean activity centers) to ensure a safe environment. Support daily learning routines, outdoor play, and group activities.
Schedule & Hours Type:
Full-time (40 hours/week)
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts Qualifications & Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to pass a comprehensive Louisiana childcare background check. Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain certification upon hire). Readiness to complete required state childcare training hours throughout the year.
