We are seeking a passionate and energetic Early Childhood Afternoon Teacher to join our vibrant educational team! In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners during the afternoon hours, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire children to explore, learn, and grow while ensuring a safe and engaging classroom experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on early childhood education by implementing innovative lesson plans and supporting each child's unique needs. Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, physical education, and social skills in line with early childhood education standards. Plan engaging activities that support childhood development milestones, including toddler care and preschool readiness. Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to create a respectful and inclusive environment. Collaborate with colleagues to design lesson plans that incorporate Montessori principles and specialized strategies for children with special education needs or early intervention requirements. Monitor and assess each child's progress through observations, standardized testing, and documentation to tailor instructional approaches. Support children's welfare by ensuring their safety, promoting healthy habits, and fostering emotional well-being. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding classroom activities, developmental milestones, and individual needs. Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, classroom management techniques, and curriculum development. Experience with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and literacy education methods. Familiarity with Montessori methods, standardized testing procedures, and teaching physical education is preferred. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families, colleagues, and support staff effectively. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate math concepts, child welfare practices, and classroom activities aligned with developmental goals. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable; ongoing professional development is encouraged. Join us in shaping the future by inspiring young minds! We are committed to providing a supportive environment where dedicated educators can thrive while making a lasting difference in children's lives through engaging teaching practices and compassionate care.
