As a vital team member, you will provide consistent, nurturing care and support across various toddler classrooms, ensuring a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment. Duties Assist in supervising and engaging toddlers during daily activities, playtime, meals, and nap times across multiple classrooms. Support lead teachers by implementing age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Ensure the safety and well-being of children by adhering to all health, safety, and sanitation policies. Provide responsive caregiving that encourages independence and positive behavior management. Help with classroom setup, cleanup, and organization to maintain a welcoming learning environment. Communicate effectively with team members and parents about children's progress and needs. Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and support staff as needed to ensure seamless daily operations. Skills Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or babysitting settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for toddler care. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior and social skills. First aid certification and training in CPR are preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is a plus. Familiarity with special education strategies and working with children with disabilities is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families. Ability to remain energetic, patient, attentive, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
