Key duties include planning activities, supervising play, maintaining a clean space, and monitoring children's physical, emotional, and social development to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.
Core Responsibilities Childcare & Safety:
Supervise children, ensure their safety, provide meals/snacks, assist with toileting/diapering, and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment.Education & Development:
Develop and implement lesson plans, use various methods (stories, games, art) to teach basic concepts, and stimulate cognitive, social, and emotional growth.Classroom Management:
Establish routines, manage daily schedules (play, rest, meals), enforce rules, and encourage positive behavior and social skills like sharing and conflict resolution.Parent Communication:
Provide regular updates to parents on their child's progress, behavior, and any developmental concerns.Documentation:
Keep records of children's progress, milestones, and daily routines. Essential Skills & Qualities Patience, compassion, and sensitivity. Strong organizational and time management skills. Creativity and adaptability in teaching methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle emergencies and administer basic first aid.Pay:
