Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. In this vital role, you will support children's developmental needs through attentive supervision, educational activities, and compassionate caregiving. Responsibilities Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and structured activities to ensure their safety and well-being Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns Follow all mandated reporting laws to report any signs of abuse or neglect promptly and appropriately Administer basic first aid or CPR when necessary to address minor injuries or health issues Support children with special needs by adapting activities and providing individualized care as needed Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage children positively and effectively Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for young children Excellent communication skills for parent updates and team collaboration Ability to perform first aid and pediatric CPR confidently in emergency situations Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and protection Ability to create a nurturing environment that fosters growth, curiosity, and independence Join us in shaping bright futures!
