Toddler Teacher The Laurel School | Cape Cod, Massachusetts Nurture curiosity. Build meaningful connections. Inspire a love of learning from the very beginning. Laurel School is seeking a warm, nurturing, and dedicated full-time Toddler Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. Our Toddler program serves children ages 15 months to 2.9 years and is rooted in the Reggio Emilia approach. We believe young children are capable, curious learners who thrive in an environment filled with connection, care, exploration, and meaningful relationships. The Opportunity As a Toddler Teacher at Laurel, you will: Create a warm, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and valued. Plan and support developmentally appropriate learning experiences that encourage curiosity, exploration, and discovery. Foster early language, social-emotional, motor, and cognitive development through play and hands-on experiences. Observe and respond to each child's individual needs, interests, and developmental milestones. Build meaningful relationships with children and families. Collaborate with teaching partners and administration to provide a consistent, loving, and supportive learning environment. Requirements & Qualifications Must hold current EEC certification appropriate for the position. Experience working with toddlers and young children preferred. Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Warm, patient, and nurturing approach to working with young children. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. Passion for early childhood education and supporting each child's individual growth. Commitment to working closely with families and teaching partners.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$36,000 - $38,000 Full-time, school-year position. Health insurance offered. Retirement benefits offered. Supportive and collaborative work environment.
