We are looking for a part time (roughly 10-29 hrs per week) Teacher Float for our
FALL RIVER
LOCATION, to join our team! Teachers must be a MA EEC certified teacher to qualify. Must be available to work a flexible working schedule between the hours of 7am-4:30pm. Shifts would range from 4-8 hrs a day (more hrs if needed). We are looking for a teacher float to help cover breaks, teacher absences, etc. Why work for us? Applicants should possess:
Clear understanding of Developmentally Appropriate Practices Experience working with children and families Leadership skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills Attention to detail Ability to multitask Current CPR/First Aid preferred Be able to work indoors and outdoors Responsibilities of these positions include but are not limited to: Ensuring safety and physical well-being of children. Ensuring adherence to all requirements of MA EEC regulations. Observing and documenting daily classroom observation logs to aid in compiling monthly classroom room meeting agendas Completing 20 hour of continuing education annually Creating a positive rapport with all parents through daily interactions Emailing, or using our communication app, notifications to parents and maintaining regular correspondence Addressing and documenting any concerns or incidents regarding children, parents, and/or staff Opening center or closing center at day's end. Plan and conduct daily program that meets each child's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs based on our curriculum philosophy Any duties assigned to you by the Director or owners
