Job Description
Summary:
To provide childcare services for residents under the direction of the Family Therapist. Provide parenting support and parenting education to families. Act as family and child advocate to collateral agencies within the community that are providing services to the family.Why Work for SMOC?

Primary Responsibilities:
Provide childcare services during assigned hours.Complete assigned documentation in a timely manner.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
High School / GED preferred or 1 year experience working with children in a daycare or pre-school setting.Ability to pass
CORI / SORI
as required.Good interpersonal skills.

Organizational Relationship:
Directly reports to the Family Therapist. Direct reports of this position are none.Physical Requirement:
Ability to lift 25lbs. Ability to remain active for extended periods of time.Working Conditions:
Residential setting specifically daycare room / play area. Ability to climb stairs. Monday throughFriday:
8:30AM - 4:00PM. Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. 35 Hours per week.Benefits
