Job Description
The Guild of St. Agnes is the largest early education and care agency in Central MA with a mission to provide families with quality and affordable childcare in a safe and nurturing environment. Join our team where you will make a tremendous impact on children's lives, one that can have a lasting impression! We are currently seeking a experienced School Age Group Leader at our Gardner location year round. This individual will assist with classroom activities, supervise children, and help create a fun and safe environment for our school-age children. This candidate will have prior experience working with children ages 5-12 years in a supervised work setting and have obtained their high school diploma or equivalent. M-F 1:30-5:30 pm Key responsibilities include: Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times, being alert for their needs as individuals and as a group Know and maintain child/teacher ratios in compliance with EEC regulations Assist in planning developmentally appropriate curriculum Maintaining clear, effective and positive communication with children, families, and staff The Guild of St. Agnes is an Equal Opportunity Employer
