Job Description

HOURS:
M-F 8 hour shift with a 45 minute paid break The Guild of St. Agnes is the largest early education and care agency in Central MA with a mission to provide families with quality and affordable childcare in a safe and nurturing environment. Join our team where you will make a tremendous impact on children's lives, one that can have a lasting impression! We are currently seeking a EEC certified Preschool Teacher at our Gardner location. This individual will shape the classroom environment within agency guidelines by leading, coordinating, and making decisions to develop and maintain a quality early childhood program. This candidate will have taken Child Growth and Development at the College level and have a minimum of 9 months experience working with toddler or preschool children.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times, being alert for their needs as individuals and as a group Supporting the Lead Teacher in creating and implementing an exciting and enriching learning environment for children Share in the classroom decision-making, finding a mutually agreeable plan that is best for the children The Guild of St. Agnes offers an excellent benefits package including; health and disability insurances, a 401k with up to 10% employer contribution, up to 4 weeks of vacation after one year, and more.
